    Chemical composition

    Watermelon seeds contain fatty oil, protein, vitamin B2, pentosan, starch, crude fiber, α-amino-β-(pyrazolyl-N) propionic acid. They also contain urease, α-galactosidase, β-galactosidase and sucrase.
