After unwrapping the layers of packaging, I finally saw the bag of pumpkin seeds. The dried fruit shops in the city supply pumpkin seeds all year round. These pumpkin seeds are pickled with oil, salt and various spices, and then dried by special machines. Although they are more crisp and the pumpkin kernels are easier to peel, the taste has lost its original purity. Compared with those finely processed pumpkin seeds, the original pumpkin seeds are a precious snack memory for me when I was growing up in the countryside. Today, I still love this unprocessed pumpkin seeds, perhaps because it contains a deep nostalgia for my childhood. Every time I chew, I taste not only the sweetness of the pumpkin seeds, but also the deep love of my elders for me.
