Dried Goji Berries Healthy Fruit

Wolfberry originated in China and is native to the northwest of China, especially in Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai and other places. Later, it gradually spread to all parts of the country and other parts of the world. It is mostly distributed in temperate and subtropical regions. It is cultivated in most provinces and regions in northern China. It often grows on hillsides, roadsides or village edges. Wolfberry likes light, cool climates, and is cold-resistant; it has strong drought resistance and can still grow in arid deserts. It is salt-tolerant and mostly grows on alkaline soil and sandy loam. It is most suitable for cultivation in deep and fertile loam. Wolfberry is generally propagated by seeds or cuttings.
"Wolfberry" is the most common English name for wolfberry. Its origin is not very clear. Perhaps it is called Wolfberry because its genus name Lycium is similar to Lycos in pronunciation, and Lycos means Wolf. The other English name "Goji Berry" has been used since the 21st century, when Chinese wolfberries entered the international market and more and more Europeans became aware of wolfberries, so it comes from the pinyin of wolfberry, gǒuqǐ.
